Corvette concept

By Ivan Luccion | Feb 29th, 2008 | Tags: , , , ,

About the concept:

Corvette has been a brand of innovation. Throughout its history there have been a number of concept Corvettes with a mid engine layout
and the Cheetah follows those steps. Though the production Corvettes have had a front mounted engine, the concept entertains the idea of an exotic Corvette, one that would be attractive to the younger, yet affluent consumer.
Corvettes designs of the past have gotten their cues from sharks and sting rays. I decided to take the Corvette from the water and associate it with the worlds fastest land animal, the Cheetah.
The Cheetah has a distinct proportion and curvature to its back – specially when on the prowl. The waist line of the vehicle take on that theme and the front fangs are ready to take on the prey.

About Ivan Luccion:

I was born in Argentina to Uruguayan parents and moved the United States when I was 13. My father was an auto mechanic and a very early age I became acquainted with the automobile.
After searching for a field of study I found Industrial Design, loved it, and received a degree from Brigham Young University a few months ago. I would love the opportunity to be an automobile designer.

  1. lol concept

  2. Looks like a mix between a Ferrari Enzo in the front almost and the rear end almost looks Lamboish at first glance. Either way, I think it’s beautiful. If GM built that, I would buy definitly.

  3. Thank you for your comments.
Even if the LOL comment doesnt’s sound like much of an educated comment or instructive.
