For the sixth time the Interior Motives Design Awards will once again take place with the full support of Interior Motives magazine.The aim of this prestigious competition is to acknowledge the finest design innovations by students from a broad range of disciplines, and to present this work to the global automotive design community.

Interior Motives Design Awards 2008 prizes will be awarded for the following ten categories:

• * Best innovation
• * Best use of technology
• * Best use of ambient lighting
• * Best production interior
• * Best conceptual interior
• * Best lifestyle interior
• * Best safety innovation
• * Best personalisation
• * Best eco design
• * Best conceptual exterior*

 

The overall winner receives a cheque for $5000 and an internship at Volkswagen’s Future Design trendlab in Wolfsburg, Germany, category winners will receive a cheque for $500.

Competition started 15th of January and the deadline is set for 30th April 2008
