Let’s make some salad!
By Matt on Dec 30th, 2007I just sat to my computer, all tired of watching all the portfolios on other sites and pictures that are so small i need magnifying glass, and said to myself: Hey, let’s make some salad of my own! First I wanted to have a general design portal with all those fancy stuff like update-able portfolios, massive databases, discussion boards and extensive articles. But hey, what for? we already have sites like these and they are already well established.
Why not to do a site all about concepts? Some valuable articles and tutorials, but basicly projects. What I really didn’t like about other sites is that people replace pictures of older concepts (And I liked them so much!) and I could only look at pictures a few pixels wide ( Magnifying glass comes handy). So I sat and started working.

Nice site and good idea. I would like to point out that the address that you have for Audi of California (in your section of where to send a portfolio for a internships) is incorrect. The Volkswagen / Audi studio moved from Simi Valley over a year ago. Their address is; Audi of America Inc., 2772 Donald Douglas Loop North, Santa Monica, CA 90405.
Good luck with your site. I look forward to seeing lots of exciting and fascinating concept design. Including AUTOMOTIVE INTERIORS!

I see a lot of potential…less clustered with ads and more focussed on hot designs. I was wonderring if motorcycles and boats or other powersports with cool designs are welcome? This is a great site, keep up the good work…

Great idea for a site, I too am fed up with searching endless adds and links only to find you have to sign up and/or pay to see this stuff, much of which will never get made, so at least let us enjoy looking at it!
