This vehicle is closely related to Hip Hop music and its immerging youth culture. Its main function is to allow the user a freedom of attitude and self expression through a new personalization process. The buyer chooses the size of the wheels ; the larger the wheels, the bigger the electric motor they contain; the user can then further personalize the look of the car by directly altering the touch sensitive & electro active membrane. The user can also alter the stance of the car while in motion giving it a “personalized stance”.
During “sideshows” gatherings the car becomes the medium of self expression. The roof slides down backward and becomes a graphic tablet allowing the use of digital spray cans. Thereby people gathered at these street- shows can express their style, thus their personality. Creations can be saved and displayed later either on the roof or on the membrane. The driver’s seat slides up along with the steering wheel in order to allow the drivers to “react spontaneously” to the music dance and express themselves.
About Emmanuel Klissarov
I started out the first third of my life in Bulgaria during communism. The first things that I was drawing for fun at that time were snow mobiles and figher jets. Cars from my childhood were mainly the Trabant and Dacias. Later, after fleeing to Canada I studied electronics but then switched to industrial design because I was sketching cars all over my school books. I did not have the money to attend a famous design school but am currently at Renault Design.

Great job! Dreams and vision at work, not limited by “production downgrading concerns” and traditionalism. This is an excellent example of breaking the repetitive matrix of automotive design at the present time. If only Saturn was not trying to replace Buick in GM’s line-up.

Thanks for the comments- The project could be largely improved and the marketing strategy behind it further developped but it was what it was…. anyways… thanks again!
