Twist

About the concept:

These are sketch explorations for my final MA project at Coventry University. The project was about a new form language inspired by surrealism. I looked into surrealist art for inspiration. Exterior: The character lines were used to develop the organic and rippled form language. The wheel center is graphically offset though its just a normal wheel. This gives it an effect of distortion which can be commonly found in surrealist art. Interior: The interior uses O-LED technology for the instrument cluster. It can be removed and used as a navigation device separately. The seat is graphically merged with the central part of the cabin and hence not very visually readable. This adds a surreal touch to the interior.

  1. dear Puspraj,

you play really well with colors….i liked it a lot….a simple suggestion that i would like to give is that just try and make yours surfaces more clear use shut lines section lines in order to make others clear that how well you understand the object you have made…also focus a lot on proportions, and whenever you work on new designs find a pakage to work on, that way you can keep it very close to reality…

    nehow, good job done there!!

    all the best!

  2. Thanks Gaurav , for your nice comments and advice. You are right about the section lines. In fact this is not the first time I get this advice. In future projects I will work on that.
    Cheers
